The Center for Innovation Research in Cultural Intelligence and Leadership (CIRCQL) at the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is pleased to announce 2012 competitive research grants for empirical research projects on cultural intelligence (CQ).
CIRCQL’s mission is to lead in generating knowledge, assessments, and programs for developing culturally intelligent individuals and organizations.
This research grant program is designed to support empirical research on CQ with the aim of gaining a better understanding of how to enhance individuals’ and organizations’ CQ.
Cultural intelligence is broadly defined as the capability to function effectively in situations characterized by cultural diversity.
“Culture” is not limited to national or societal cultures, but may also include functional, professional and organizational cultures (for example, in culturally diverse domestic contexts or merger and acquisition situations, or joint venture contexts).
